What Is Avéli?
Avéli is a minimally invasive, in-office procedure that treats cellulite dimples on the buttocks and thighs. It is FDA-cleared and supported by clinical data showing a lasting reduction in the appearance of cellulite through one year of observation after a single treatment.
The dimples you see are caused by septa, small fibrous bands that tether the skin to deeper tissue. When these bands pull the skin down, they create the puckered, uneven texture we recognize as cellulite. Avéli uses a handheld device to find those specific bands and release them, so the skin can rest smoothly again.
What sets it apart is verification. During the procedure, I can confirm in real time that a band has been released before moving on. Very few cellulite treatments let the provider see and confirm the work as it happens.

What to Expect With Avéli
The Avéli device is guided just under the skin, directly to the dimple being treated, and the exact septa band responsible for it is located.
Once the culprit band is identified, it is precisely released. Only the targeted bands are treated, which is what makes the approach so controlled.
The released band is confirmed in real time before moving on. This step is the reason Avéli delivers such consistent, lasting smoothing.

What to Expect with Avéli
Avéli is performed in-office using local anesthesia. Most patients are comfortable throughout. The treatment is targeted and typically completed in a single visit.
Minimal. Many patients return to normal activities within a day. I generally recommend wearing compressive clothing, such as leggings or yoga pants, for the first one to two weeks to help reduce bruising and swelling.
Some bruising, tenderness, and swelling are normal and expected. Bruising usually peaks and begins to resolve within the first couple of weeks, and most patients see it fully resolve within about 30 days. Light activity is fine early on. I ask you to hold off on strenuous exercise while the area heals.
As swelling and bruising subside, you will begin to see smoother skin where dimples used to be. Many patients notice improvement by one month, with results best assessed at your three-month follow-up, when we take your "after" photos and review your outcome together.
