To make sure you get the most out of your dermal filler treatment, follow these simple pre- and post-care steps. They can help minimize any side effects and keep your complexion looking fabulous.
Pre-Care Instructions
- Arrive with clean, dry hair
- Avoid heavy styling products before your session
- Pause use of harsh scalp treatments or exfoliants for 48 hours
- Notify your provider of any recent scalp conditions or sensitivities
- Stay well hydrated throughout the day
Post-Care Instructions
- Avoid washing your hair for at least 6 hours after treatment
- Skip heat styling, saunas or sweaty workouts until the next day
- Mild scalp warmth or tingling is normal
- Use recommended home-care products consistently for best results
- Stick to your session schedule to support long-term growth
