What to Expect

First, we will apply a topical numbing cream to your treatment areas. Next, we will gently apply the SkinPen handheld microneedling device to your skin. As we slowly work our way around every inch of your skin, the SkinPen device creates tiny microchannels, or “controlled injuries,” which stimulate your natural healing response and trigger new collagen and elastin growth. Immediately following your microneedling session, your skin will appear red and slightly swollen. You should be able to return to your normal daily activities 24 hours after your treatment.

As your skin heals, be sure to apply a broad-spectrum, SPF 30+ sunscreen and avoid the sun in the days following your treatment.
