What to Expect
When you arrive at your appointment, we will first draw a small portion of your blood from the comfort of our office. We will then place it in a special centrifuge, which will isolate the PRP within minutes. During this time, we will apply a topical numbing cream to your face to maximize your comfort during treatment. Once your face is fully numb, we will administer the SkinPen microneedling device to your skin while applying PRP over your treatment areas. As the PRP absorbs into the skin, it will begin to stimulate healing and growth from deep within.
Tips For Getting Your Best Results
- Avoid washing your face immediately following your PRP facial. This will allow the PRP to fully absorb into the skin and gradually flake off as your treatment areas heal. Any lingering redness or swelling should dissipate within a few days.
- Stay out of direct sunlight and apply a broad-spectrum, SPF 30+ sunscreen daily to protect your results.
